Firestop. Insulation. Fireproofing.
Horizon Firestop LLC is a specialty contractor serving commercial, multifamily, industrial, and institutional construction. We install firestop systems, mechanical insulation, and fireproofing — on schedule, to spec, and coordinated with your team.
Specialty Scopes. Reliable Execution.
We handle the passive fire protection and insulation scopes that require precision, coordination, and field experience. From penetration firestop to spray-applied fireproofing, we work directly with GCs, mechanical contractors, and owners to keep projects moving.
Firestop Installation
Through-penetration firestop, construction joints, and perimeter fire containment systems installed to tested and listed assemblies. We coordinate submittals, system selection, and field conditions throughout the project.
Mechanical Insulation
Pipe insulation, duct insulation, and equipment insulation for commercial and industrial mechanical systems. We work from specifications and coordinate with mechanical contractors to meet schedule and scope.
Fireproofing
Intumescent coatings and spray-applied fireproofing for structural steel. We provide accurate takeoffs, coordinate with the structural engineer's requirements, and deliver a clean, inspectable finish.
Joint Sealants & Specialty Caulking
Fire-rated joint sealants, smoke seals, and specialty caulking for construction joints, expansion joints, and perimeter conditions requiring tested assemblies.
Firestop Repairs & Corrections
Deficiency corrections, re-inspections, and engineering judgment coordination for existing firestop conditions that don't match available tested systems.
Technical Coordination
Submittals, system selection, engineering judgment assistance, and pre-construction coordination to resolve firestop and insulation scope before it becomes a field problem.
Built for Commercial Construction.
We work across a range of project types — from multifamily and healthcare to industrial and institutional. Our focus is on clean installation, accurate documentation, and coordination that keeps your project on track.
Multifamily
Firestop installation across multiple floors of a multifamily residential project.
Commercial / Healthcare
Mechanical insulation and firestop coordination on a healthcare facility project.
Industrial / Institutional
Spray-applied fireproofing and structural steel protection on an industrial project.
